Since 1937, Sugden Kerr has been part of the Toowoomba story - a name synonymous with honesty, hard work, and the true country spirit.

What began as Sugden’s Garage on the corner of Dent and Hill Streets has grown through four generations of family dedication. Founded by Ted Sugden, the small workshop soon expanded, selling Jaguar and Renault vehicles across the Darling Downs before Ted partnered with Percy Kerr, and the name Sugden Kerr was born.

Over the decades, Toowoomba families have watched Sugden Kerr evolve, from hand-built Bug Saws and Danarm chainsaws in the 1950s, to Briggs & Stratton engines, Rover and Greenfield mowers, and now today’s range of trusted brands including Cox.
